1. Music On The Mind. I am not to sure if this may occur to any musicians or writers, but some nights I wake up from a dream that inspires me for song ideas, melodies or lyrics. I find it is amazing how our brain works in our sub-conscious and relaxed state of mind.
2. Interesting Work Options. On separate occasions, I have been asked by a few people in the entertainment scene to do MC work at a fashion catwalk show, cruise ships and I even got offered a strip club gig. At the time, I wondered whether I would get any extra tips if I took on the strip club job. Bazingah!
3. Street Talk. I love to meet new people, musicians and street entertainers as we are all unique and have a story to tell. I even love to support talented local buskers and show my appreciation of their work by dropping some money in their hats. I am a strong believer that if you give out good, then good will be returned. That’s good karma!
4. Home Grown Encounters. I always carry around music demos or flyers because you just never know when the opportunity will arise to hand them out, like the time I bumped into home grown Aussies Jessica Mauboy and DJ Nino Brown. At the times I managed to give my music demo and details to them. I try to never to miss opportunities, but always seize the moment.
5. Moments In History. Whilst I was at an LL Cool J concert a few years back, I had an amazing experience to be selected out of the crowd to dance on stage with his dancers. Whilst up on stage I was able to meet, greet and exchange details with LL. Happy times and loving the music.
